Job Description
• Support the SENCO with the day-to-day organisation of SEND provision.
• Work with teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Help implement and monitor SEND interventions and support plans.
• Assist with maintaining SEND records, provision maps and relevant documentation.
• Support the preparation of information for SEND reviews and meetings.
• Help gather information and evidence for referrals and assessments.
• Support teachers with appropriate SEND strategies and adaptive teaching approaches.
• Prepare and organise SEND resources for staff and pupils.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups where appropriate.
• Liaise appropriately with teachers, support staff and other professionals under the direction of the SENCO.
• Contribute to monitoring the progress and provision of pupils with SEND.
